Apart
Independent retailers choose Ballancourt because we understand their market. We supply products that sell, at margins that work, with the quality credentials that discerning customers expect.
Preferred Pâté Supplier to Hundreds of UK Retailers
Over twenty years we have become the go-to supplier for independent fine food retailers across the UK. Our range is proven to sell in delis, farm shops and speciality stores.
High Meat Content, Genuine Recipes
Our pâtés and terrines are made with high meat content - typically 45% or above - using named cuts from traceable sources. These are genuine artisan products, not processed mousse.
No Artificial Preservatives or Colourings
Every product is free from artificial preservatives and colourings. Natural protein, traditional methods, honest ingredients - exactly what independent food retailers need to sell with confidence.
Ambient Storage - No Cold Chain Required
Produced using traditional sterilisation, our products store at ambient temperature until opened. This eliminates cold chain complexity and reduces waste - a genuine operational advantage for any retailer.
Own-Label Service Available
We offer a straightforward, free of charge, own-label service. Send us your logo as a JPEG and we handle the rest - label design, production, and delivery of ready-to-sell stock under your brand.
Full Traceability to Accredited Producers
Every product is fully traceable to accredited suppliers and production facilities. We know exactly where our food comes from, and we can tell your customers the same.

White spots are natural fats settling as the product cools, a sign of authentic high-meat recipes.
Ambient Storage
Traditional sterilisation means no refrigeration before opening and less waste for retailers.

Getting the Best From
Your Ballancourt Products
All Ballancourt products are produced using traditional sterilisation and store at ambient temperature until opened. Here is how to store and serve each range for the best results.

Before Opening
Store in a cool, dry, shaded place at ambient temperature. No refrigeration required. Long shelf life - check best before date on lid.
Vacuum Seal
The lid will "pop" when the original vacuum seal is broken. This is a sign of freshness - if the lid does not pop, the seal was already broken.
After Opening
Refrigerate after opening. All products should be consumed within 48 hours of opening unless otherwise stated on the label.
